Fax cover sheets define the information included on the cover page of each outgoing fax. These typically contain details such as the logo, address, and phone number, along with various codes representing specific sender and recipient information. 

You can create multiple cover sheets, such as one for each department or different templates for various types of fax documents.

Follow these steps to create a cover sheet:

Creating a Cover Sheet

  1. Click the 'Create Cover Sheet' button.

  2. Cover Sheet Name: Enter a name for the cover sheet (this will be visible to users) - this field is mandatory.

  3. Cover Sheet Description: Provide a description for the cover sheet.

  4. Customise Cover Sheet File: Adjust the required information in the cover sheet file. The file will contain a combination of embedded codes representing specific information. List of available embedded codes included at the bottom of this article.

  5. Attach Cover Sheet File: Upload the cover sheet file. The accepted file formats are DOC and DOCX.

  6. Click Save to create the cover sheet.

Description

EMAILADDRESS

The sender’s email address from profile.

FAXDATE

The date that the fax is created.

FAXDIDNUM

The sender’s fax number.

FROMNAME

The sender’s name.

NOTETEXT

The notes added to the fax when it was addressed.

NUMPAGES

The number of pages in the fax body, not including the cover sheet.

TOCOMPANY

The recipient’s organization name.

TOCONTACTNUM

The recipient’s phone number.

TOFAXNUM

The recipient’s fax number.

TONAME

The recipient’s name.
