Instead of routing inbound faxes to a specified user email address. Xfax users can choose to have their inbound faxes delivered into Microsoft Teams®.
Launch Microsoft Teams®, then go to Teams and channels from the bottom-left menu. Click ... and select Your teams and channels.
On the top-right, select Create Team. Note - If using an existing team, skip to step
Select Create a team. Specify the team name. e.g."Inbound Faxes". Team type can be either private or public(based on your requirement).
For the "First channel name", specify the fax number to be received in teams.
If using an existing team, Next to your Team name, click … (More options) and select Add channel.
Specify the fax number and a meaningful description(example below). Channel type Private. Layout type Posts. Then select Create.
If receiving faxes for multiple Xfax numbers into teams, repeat steps 4 and 5 for each required inbound number.
On the channel, click ... and select Get email address.
Obtain the email address and select Only email sent from these domains: fax.xfax.io, xfax.io
On the Xfax portal, under user management. Edit the required user. Enter the teams channel email address(obtained from step 8).
Inbound faxes received to the specified fax number will now be delivered to the teams channel.
