Retention Policy

Tenant administrators have the ability to set their own retention policies for managing fax records and files. These policies are divided into two main categories: inbound faxes and outbound faxes.


Inbound Faxes Policies

  • Enable Fax Records Auto Deletion: Automatically delete fax records.

  • Delete Immediately Fax Records of Successfully Routed Faxes: Immediately delete records of successfully routed faxes based on fax records older than specified days.

  • Enable Fax Files (Images) Auto Deletion: Automatically delete fax files (images).

  • Delete Immediately Fax Files (Images) of Successfully Routed Faxes: Immediately delete fax files (images) of successfully routed faxes based on fax files(images) older than specified days.

  • Backup Fax Files (Images): Backup fax files (images) for future reference.


Outbound Faxes Policies

  • Enable Fax Records Auto Deletion: Automatically delete fax records.

  • Delete Immediately Fax Records of Successfully Routed Faxes: Immediately delete records of successfully routed faxes based on fax records older than specified days.

  • Enable Fax Files (Images) Auto Deletion: Automatically delete fax files (images).

  • Delete Immediately Fax Files (Images) of Successfully Routed Faxes: Immediately delete fax files (images) of successfully routed faxes based on fax files(images) older than specified days.

  • Backup Fax Files (Images): Backup fax files (images) for future reference.


Access Restrictions

Please note that only tenant administrators have the permissions to set and manage these retention policies. This ensures that only authorised personnel can control the retention and deletion of fax records and files.
