Tenant administrators have the flexibility to adjust the retry policies for their tenant. Below are the settings you can configure:

Line is Busy

When the recipient's line is busy, the system will attempt to resend the fax after a specified interval.

  • Number of Attempts: [Specify the number of attempts]

  • Interval in Minutes: [Specify the interval in minutes]

Human Answered

If a human answers the call instead of a fax machine, the system will retry sending the fax after a set interval.

  • Number of Attempts: [Specify the number of attempts]

This occurs when a special information tone (SIT) is detected, indicating issues like a disconnected number. The system will retry based on the configured settings.

  • Number of Attempts: [Specify the number of attempts]

  • Interval in Minutes: [Specify the interval in minutes]

No Loop/Errors

If there are no loops or errors detected, the system will retry sending the fax according to the specified parameters.

  • Interval in Minutes: [Specify the interval in minutes]

Others

For other unspecified issues, the system will follow the configured retry policy.

  • Number of Attempts: [Specify the number of attempts]

Saving Changes

If any changes are made to the retry policies, make sure to click the Save button. Otherwise, the changes will be discarded.
