The Inbound Routes section allows administrators to define how inbound jobs are handled within Xconnect. Each route determines where inbound documents are delivered once processed.

Inbound route types include Printer, File, Email, and Webhook.
All inbound routes can also be created in a disabled state if not yet ready for use. Existing inbound routes can also be adjusted or deleted.

Printer

The Printer route delivers inbound jobs directly to a configured printer.
Administrators can select from the list of available printers associated with the tenant.

File

The File route saves inbound job data to a specified directory path.
Output can be generated in XML or JSON format, and the fax document can optionally be saved to the same directory.

Email

The Email route delivers inbound jobs to a specified email address.

Webhook

The Webhook route sends inbound job data to a specified webhook URL.
This allows integration with third-party or backend systems.
